The first meeting of the active 2010-2011 year will be Thurs., September 23, at 7 p.m. at the Lower Level Meeting Room of the Reserve Building, 3637 Medina Rd., Medina.

Featured program will highlight Medina’s Spirit Walk, with a visit from the late Freda Snyder (portrayed by Myrna Dooley) who will talk about her role in community philanthropy. Along with Dooley, two women associated with the 15-year ongoing “Walk With the Spirits of the Past” — Donna Bica, of Medina ShowBiz, and Marlene Jividen, AAUW member and member of Medina County Historical Society–will give insights into the origins of the project.

Following the presentation, a business meeting will be held.

The Reserve Building is handicap accessible and the program is open to the public.
